Cornwall is an area of 3,559 square kilometres, situated in the far South West of the UK mainland. It boasts the longest (697 km) and one of the most spectacular coastlines in the whole British Isles. Nowhere in Cornwall are you more than 16 miles from the sea. It is a land of beauty, myth and legend with a history spanning over 6,000 years from Neolithic man to the world famous Eden Project.

This website has been created for the benefit of the millions of people who visit the county each year. It is not intended to be complete and, although it continues to grow (now well over 2000 pages), we intend to continue adding new information and removing what has become redundant for many years to come.
