Basic New Entries
are simple entries on the relevant page on Visiting Cornwall ( more details below
). An existing free entry from the early days of Visiting Cornwall (before 2004) can be enhanced to the same standard for the same one-off payment of £10.00.
This is our most popular and most cost effective form of advertising for your business but it is limited to the types of businesses that are featured on this site (i.e. Cornish-based tourism-orientated businesses).
Primary Positions
are for small images of your logo or the property (approx. 120px X 120px) linked to your business website. These are positioned at the top of the Home page and are available for any advertiser as long as it complies with the Visiting Cornwall Advertising Standards. Primary Sponsored Links
are text links to your business website with up to 50 words to describe it. These are also positioned on the Home page. Secondary Positions
are at the tops of any of the remaining pages (i.e. any page except the Home page) and the bottom of the Home page (scroll down to the end). Secondary Sponsored Links
are text links to your business website with up to 50 words to describe it. These are positioned at the tops of the relevant main listing page for the business type - Hotels, Restaurants, Theme Parks, Art Galleries, Gift Shops etc. Level 3 Links
are image or text links at the bottom of the secondary site pages.
Multiple placings can attract significant discounts - please contact us with your intentions and we will supply you with a quotation.
Initial payments cover a period of 12 months commencing from the day on which the advertisment is added to the Visiting Cornwall website.
Renewal rates apply for the next 12 month period from the anniversary of the advertisement first appearing .
Notification of renewal will be issued to it becoming due and payment must be received by the renewal date.
Failure to renew on time will result in the advertisement being removed. (10 days grace will be allowed.)
Reinstatement may be made following payment but we can not guarantee that the same position will still be available. Primary and Secondary positions may no longer be available following late payment as they may have been allocated to an advertiser from our waiting list (see below).
Changes to any of these Special Position advertisements (including the logo or destination website address) will also attract a small charge (usually not exceeding £10).
As there is limited space available on the Primary and Secondary positions, these will be allocated on a first come - first served basis. Once full, a waiting list will be maintained pending failure to renew by existing occupants.
